Sir Peter John Ratcliffe, FRS, FMedSci (lahir 14 Mei 1954^[1]) adalah dokter, ilmuwan, dan nefrolog asal Britania Raya.^[2][3][4] Ia bekerja sebagai dokter di John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, dan menjabat Guru Besar Kedokteran Klinis Nuffield sekaligus kepala Departemen Kedokteran Klinis Nuffield di Universitas Oxford pada tahun 2004 sampai 2016. Pada tahun 2016, ia menjabat Direktur Riset Klinis di Francis Crick Institute,^[5] anggota Ludwig Institute of Cancer Research, dan Direktur Target Discovery Institute, Universitas Oxford.^[6]

Ratcliffe dikenal atas penelitiannya tentang reaksi sel terhadap hipoksia. Ratcliffe, William Kaelin Jr., dan Gregg L. Semenza dianugerahi Hadiah Nobel Fisiologi atau Kedokteran pada tahun 2019.^[7] Penemuannya membuka jalan dalam bidang kesehatan dalam memerangi penyakit anemia, kanker dan banyak penyakit lainya.^[8]
