Van Demark grew up in Wayne, New Jersey, and played prep football and volleyball at Wayne Valley High School. After graduating in 2016, he spent a postgraduate year at the Hun School of Princeton to help further develop his skills as a football player before starting college.[2]
College career
Van Demark started 43 games for the UConn Huskies, most of them coming at left tackle.[3]
On September 6, 2022, Van Demark signed with the Buffalo Bills practice squad.[7] On January 23, 2023, Van Demark signed a reserve/future contract with the Bills.[8]
Van Demark made the Bills' initial 53-man roster for the 2023 season.[9] He appeared in 12 games in the 2023 season.[10] He appeared in 14 games and started two in the 2024 season.[11]
Minnesota Vikings
On March 20, 2026, Van Demark signed a one-year, $4.2 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings.[12]
