Preterisme adalah sebuah pandangan atau keyakinan eskatologi Kristen yang menafsirkan beberapa (preterisme parsial) atau seluruh (preterisme penuh) nubuat Alkitab sebagai peristiwa yang telah terpenuhi dalam sejarah. Mazhab pemikiran tersebut menafsirkan bahwa Kitab Daniel merujuk kepada peristiwa yang terjadi dari abad ketujuh SM sampai abad pertama M, sementara nubuat Kitab Wahyu serta prediksi Kritus dalam Khotbah di Bukit Zaitun, sebagai peristiwa yang terjadi pada abad pertama M. Preterisme meyakini bahwa Israel Kuno mengalami kelanjutan atau pemenuhan dalam gereja Kristen pada penghancuran Yerusalem pada 70 M.
