Spesies ini berbiak di pulau-pulau dan tebing di daerah mediterania. Sarangnya berupa tanah terbuka atau di antara karang atau kadang-kadang di dalam liang, dimana mereka meletakkan satu butir telur berwarna putih, dan akan dijaga saat malam hari untuk menjaga dari predator.
