Ornithurae (berarti "ekor burung" dalam bahasa Yunani) adalah sebuah kelompok alami yang mencakup burung modern dan kerabat-kerabat sangat dekat mereka seperti kelompok Ichthyornithes dan Hesperornithes. Klad ini didefinisikan dalam PhyloCode oleh Juan Benito dkk. pada 2022 sebagai "klad terkecil yang mencakup Ichthyornis dispar, Hesperornis regalis, dan Vultur gryphus".^[2]
