Neelaps bimaculatus, also known as the black-naped snake, western black-naped snake or black-naped burrowing snake, is a species of burrowing mildly venomous snakeendemic to Australia. The specific epithetbimaculatus (“two-spotted”) refers to the distinctive black patches on head and nape.
