Bryopsida merupakan kelas terbesar dari lumut daun (Musci),[2] yang terdiri dari hampir 95% spesies lumut daun. Terdapat sekitar 11,500 spesies yang tersebar di seluruh dunia.
Klasifikasi
Pada masa lalu, semua lumut daun masuk dalam grup Bryopsida, sebelum akhirnya komposisinya berubah seperti sekarang.[1][3]
