The Bridge on the River Kwai adalah sebuah film perang epik Inggris-Amerika 1957 garapan David Lean dan dibintangi oleh William Holden, Jack Hawkins, dan Alec Guinness, dan menampilkan Sessue Hayakawa. Berdasarkan pada novel Le Pont de la rivière Kwaï (1952) karya Pierre Boulle, film tersebut adalah sebuah karya fiksi, tetapi menambahkan pembangunan Jalur Kereta Api Burma tahun 1942–1943 untuk latar sejarahnya. Film tersebut difilmkan di Ceylon (sekarang Sri Lanka). Jembatan dalam film tersebut berada di dekat Kitulgala.
