47 Ursae Majoris (disingkat 47 UMa ), umumnya disebut Chalawan ,[ 7] [ 8] adalah sebuah bintang katai kuning yang berjarak sekitar 46 tahun cahaya [ 1] dari Bumi di konstelasi Ursa Major . Hingga 2011 [ update] , tiga planet ekstrasurya (yang dinamakan 47 Ursae Majoris b , c dan d ; dua yang pertama kemudian dinamai Taphao Thong dan Taphao Kaew) dipercayai mengelilingi bintang tersebut.
