William Etty (10 Maret 1787 – 13 November 1849) merupakan seorang pelukis asal Inggris, yang karyanya hampir tidak dikenal.^[1] Walaupun demikian, pada tahun 1820, karyanya Coral Finders berhasil merebut perhatian masyarakat luas.^[1]

Pada tahun 1828, ia dipilih menjadi seorang akademisi. Karya-karyanya yang terkenal antara lain Deliverance of a Bethulia by Judith, Benaiah, One of David's Mighty Men, dan Women Interceding for the Vanquished.^[1] Seluruh karya tersebut disimpan di Galeri Nasional Skotlandia.^[1]
