- (Discuss) – Asiatic-Pacific theater → Asiatic-Pacific Theater (command) – I have stumbled upon a series of numerous articles related to the Pacific War and was greatly confused. I have since done some reading and realized that these series of articles are all specifically about U.S. commands, while the rest are about the actual campaigns and battles between the Allies and Japanese. I believe having a disambiguator is important to distinguish the two. Additionally, "theater" should be capitalized, as these are proper nouns named specifically by U.S. command. I believe the previous RM was done due to this confusion, as the mover had believed that these articles were about campaigns and battles of the Pacific War and not strictly U.S. command structures. - (Discuss) – Afghan unlawful killings inquiry → Independent Inquiry relating to Afghanistan (United Kingdom) – In my view the current page title doesn’t comply with WP:AT, the inquiry is properly called the Independent Inquiry Relating to Afghanistan and therefore the Naturalness characteristic of WP:CRITERIA would be better served by a name change. Secondly, the current name, is not, in my view sufficiently precise for WP:CRITERIA as it could equally refer to the Brereton Report and there is nothing to link it to the UK. Thirdly, the current title presupposes the inquiry’s outcome. While the inquiry cannot determine if unlawful killings took place, part of its terms of reference are to identify if there is credible evidence of unlawful killings which require further investigation. Additionally, while it makes sense to use the image of a carbuncle on this page per WP:NOTCENSORED, it's really not ideal that people searching for those other terms land on this page with a rather graphic depiction of the medical condition. Per WP:CRITERIA, article titles must be recognizable, natural, precise, concise, and consistent. I reason that AM checks 4/5 boxes on that list, while RE checks all 5. I do not hold that AM is precise. First, I believe AM is not precise because the amendment was struck down in court; therefore, it is not an amendment to Virginia’s constitution and calling it as such is inaccurate. Now, one could argue that regardless of whether a constitutional amendment referendum succeeds or not, the term “amendment” is still okay to use as its name, because that's what it had sought to do: (amend the constitution). And, it would be illogical to change the title to something like "2026 Virginia proposed redistricting amendment”, because that would violate the concise rule of WP:CRITERIA. However, because the amendment failed and there is no true official name in usage, it makes sense to use the most precise name which is, in this case, referendum. (We find ourselves in a bit of a unique situation here in regards to how this should be named in order to be consistent with other articles. Referendum articles are typically named based on how the referendum was numbered by lawmakers (e.g. 1998 South Carolina Amendment 4, 1976 Massachusetts Question 1, 2010 Oklahoma State Question 755), but this measure was not numbered because it was by itself on the ballot.) So, my argument follows the path of: Was there an amendment to the Virginia constitution? No. Were voters asked to decide an amendment in a referendum? Yes. Per WP:COMMONNAME, how secondary sources refer to the topic has a lot of weight on how something is named; the official name in this circumstance is, arguably, "2026 Virginia proposed constitutional amendment," as, on the ballot, above the question and the "Yes" and "No" options, was "Proposed Constitutional Amendment".[1] However, the following secondary sources, to name a few, refer to the measure as a referendum, supporting the case of RE becoming the title by WP:COMMONNAME standards: CNN,[2] NYT,[3] Associated Press,[4] NBC News,[5] TIME,[6] Politico,[7] The Hill,[8] and CBS News.[9]

- (Discuss) – Ferrocarriles Argentinos → Nuevos Ferrocarriles Argentinos – I would suggest moving this article from “Nuevos Ferrocarriles Argentinos” to “Ferrocarriles Argentinos”, as the latter is both the historical and current legal name of the company. “Nuevos Ferrocarriles Argentinos” was primarily a commercial/public branding used around 2015 in some logos and institutional communications, but it was not the formal corporate name of the state railway holding company itself. The company was legally created and has continued to operate under the name Ferrocarriles Argentinos (first as Ferrocarriles Argentinos Sociedad del Estado, later as Ferrocarriles Argentinos S.A.U.). Per Wikipedia naming conventions, article titles should generally follow the most commonly recognized and officially established name of the subject, rather than a temporary slogan, marketing identity, or graphic brand. In this case, “Ferrocarriles Argentinos” is overwhelmingly the historically significant and legally accurate denomination used across Argentine railway history and current state documentation. A mention of “Nuevos Ferrocarriles Argentinos” could certainly remain in the article body — for example, in a “Branding” or “History” section explaining the 2015 rebranding initiative and associated logo usage — but it does not appear appropriate as the title of the encyclopedia article itself. Both were booksellers, the son was also a notable politician. The father's page calls him an entrepreneur but I'm not so sure that's accurate considering he didn't found the company; his father Henry Walton Smith did. I think bookseller is more accurate. The son can't go to (politician) due to William Henry Smith (American politician) and William Henry Smith (Canadian politician) I favour (English politician) for the son over (bookseller, born 1825) because I think that's what he is most notable for, with our article on him being mainly focused on his political career, but that may of course also just be a flaw with the article. - (Discuss) – Filmi → Indian film music – As originally suggested on this talk page by Anirudh131819 three years ago, the term "filmi" does not apply to the entire body of music composed for Indian cinema. After researching he term to the best of my ability, it appears that it is used as a shorthand to refer to Hindi film music most of the time. So that would make this either a duplicate of that Hindi article or a separate article generally about music composed for Indian cinema. It appears to be centered on the latter so it should be moved to reflect that. I went through every single source cited in this article and none of them even use the term "filmi", except one. So I'm not so confident this term is even as widely adopted as we may be assuming here on Wikipedia. The article was first written in 2004, completely unsourced, and hasn't dramatically improved since. The article appears to be relying on a single screening listing from an archive presentation from UCLA in 2005 which states: We are now calling it Filmi (rather than Bombay) Melody, in order to suggest that the exuberant music and melodrama so closely identified with the Hindi commercial cinema produced in Bombay (Mumbai) are truly pan-Indian. That is insufficient for establishing the term as actually being the common name for pan-India film music. This was a dance-craze first created in the UK, the article was stable at the BREng title for years, until it was moved to the present title on a completely false premise - no-one uses the name "Hokey Pokey" for this dance in the UK. This includes young people in the UK (both of my children call it the "Hokey Cokey" because that's what they call it in school here) so it was completely incorrect to say this was an age-related phenomenon. ENGVAR clearly indicates it should revert to its previous title.
If US-English speakers are simply allowed to gang up and bully through their version for everything through with numerical superiority, including for things that have strong national ties to the UK, and the always-repeated refrain of "I've never heard it called this so it must be wrong", then there is no role here at all for the speakers of other variants of English. It was named the Cox Convention Center in 2002, and it kept that name for nearly 20 years. Even after it changed ownership to the Prairie Surf studio, most residents were not aware of the change, and still referred to it as the Cox Convention Center. See 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 and many, many more. There's another building in downtown OKC with a similar name that could lead to some confusion, the Myriad Botanical Gardens. In multiple sources, they refer to it as the "Cox Convention Center" and occasionally "formerly Myriad Convention Center" if they even mention Myriad. There's a few that refer it as the "old Myriad Convention Center" but it's not super common.
As a lifetime resident of Oklahoma City, it's most commonly referred to as the Cox Convention Center by everyone I've ever talked to in my whole life. Honestly, I wasn't even aware of it's history of being named the Myriad Convention Center until recently, and I've been to many conventions in that building in my lifetime.
