By-elections from November 2021
The following by-elections were held to fill vacant ward seats in the period from November 2021.
Following the by-election on 2 April 2025, the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) losts its majority, falling from 15 of the 29 seats to 14. It will likely work with the Democratic Alliance (DA) to retain its positions.[ 8]
