Tanvi Shah (Tamil : தன்வி ஷா , born 1982)[ 1] is an Indian singer, songwriter, and designer from Chennai , Tamil Nadu, India.[ 2] In 2010 Shah was the first Indian woman to win a Grammy Award for her contributions to the song "Jai Ho " from the film Slumdog Millionaire .[ 3]
