Salib George atau George Cross (GC) adalah penghargaan tanda jasa tertinggi kedua dari sistem penghargaan Kerajaan Inggris yang diberikan untuk "tindakan kepahlawanan terbesar atau untuk keberanian yang paling menonjol selama dalam keadaan bahaya ekstrem",[3] tidak di hadapan musuh. Dianugerahkan untuk anggota angkatan bersenjata Inggris dan warga sipil Inggris.[4]
Penghargaan anumerta diizinkan sejak ordo ini dilembagakan oleh Raja George VI pada tanggal 24 September 1940.[5] Penghargaan ini sebelumnya diberikan kepada penduduk negara-negara Persemakmuran dan juga pernah diberikan ke Malta (sebuah koloni yang suatu ketika pernah menjadi negara Persemakmuran).[6]
