Mamucium adalah benteng yang terletak di provinsi Britannia, Romawi. Mamucium juga dikenal sebagai Mancunium.[1] Sisa dari benteng ini dilindungi sebagai Scheduled Ancient Monument.[2] Didirikan c.AD79, pemukiman penduduk di Mamucium terdiri dari pedagang dan keluarga tentara, berkembang di luar benteng.
Situs ini masih merupakan reruntuhan hingga munculnya revolusi industri. Pada periode ini, Manchester berkembang dan benteng ini diratakan untuk perkembangan baru. Situs Mamucium dirusak oleh pembangunan kanal Rochdale dan Great Northern Railway.
