Ignazio Corrao (born 14 January 1984) is an Italian lawyer and politician who served as a member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 2014 to 2024. A member of the Five Star Movement (M5S) until 2020, when he became an Independent, he represented the Italian Islands constituency in the European Parliament.
In June 2014, he was elected the first leader of the Five Star Movement's group in Parliament, becoming one of the youngest representatives to get this role in the European Union.[4] Considered one of first political exponents of the Erasmus generation, he has gained various experiences of work, study and volunteering abroad at a very young age.[5]
