The airport is at an elevation of 439ft (134m) above sea level. It has two runways: 06/24 with an asphalt surface measuring 1,704m ×30m (5,591ft ×98ft) and 18/36 with a clay surface measuring 600m ×30m (1,969ft ×98ft).[1]
Sharp Airlines formerly ran services to Melbourne, which ceased in March 2022.[3] The route was also previously operated by Rex Airlines, which ceased in July 2012.[4]
