Carson McCullers (19 Februari 1917–29 September 1967) adalah seorang novelis, penulis cerita pendek, penulis naskah drama, penulis esai, dan penyair Amerika Serikat. Novel pertamanya, The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter (1940), mengeksplorasi keterasingan spiritual orang-orang yang tidak cocok dan terbuang di sebuah kota kecil di Amerika Serikat bagian Selatan.
