Alejandro Luces Salinas (born on 20 January 1950) is a Peruvian former professional footballer who played as forward.
Playing career
Club career
Nicknamed Torito (little bull),[1] Alejandro Luces distinguished himself during the 1976 Peruvian Championship with Unión Huaral, forming a partnership with Pedro Ruiz La Rosa that led the club to its first-ever championship title.[1] He finished as the tournament's top scorer with 17 goals.[2]
With Unión Huaral and Universitario, he participated in the Copa Libertadores in 1975, 1977 and 1979. He played 14 matches and scored four goals in the competition.[5]
International career
Peruvian international Alejandro Luces made eight appearances for the national team (scoring three goals).[6] He played all of his matches in 1977, including three World Cup 1978 qualifiers where he scored one goal.
