I'm surprised there is no succession box header for positions within organized labor (trade unions, workers' organizations, etc.) I'm certain that many biographies could benefit from this given that many trade unions operate under some form of leadership structure. Perhaps one could be created? Krisgabwoosh (talk) 05:12, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
Succession box for holders of Sports titles
Is it appropriate for succession boxes to be used in the case of individual sports championship titles (eg: The Masters' Golf Tournament winner, The US Open tournament, etc)? Some golf tournaments base their entry on an exemption earned by winning these titles. Thanks. DSH DarkStarHarry (talk) 19:45, 19 January 2024 (UTC)
I noticed this WP from the talk page over there. Is anyone working on that by any chance? --Joy (talk) 22:52, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
Succession box vs infobox
Hello! I had been looking at Dutch politicians, such as Ruud Lubbers. Information about his offices are not only mentioned in the introduction and body of article, but also in the infobox and to a lesser extent in the navigation templates. So while it adds little additional information (and isn't visible on mobile iirc), it fills up the bottom quite a lot. Are there any guidelines on this topic? For example, is it acceptable to remove these boxes if it is sufficiently covered in the infobox? Dajasj (talk) 14:42, 26 February 2025 (UTC)
