Hi, I work for a communications firm that represents Tile and I've made a few suggestions for improvements on the article's Talk page. Any chance someone here could take a look and lend a hand? Thanks much! Mary Gaulke (talk) 18:36, 25 February 2016 (UTC)
Proposal to create a new mobile games task force
I've started a discussion here on the subject of creating a new "mobile games task force" of WikiProject Video Games. I'm posting about it here because I feel that it may interest those watching this page. Thanks! Omni Flameslet's talk about it 06:57, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
Godless Android Rooting
It was recently discovered that a "family" of apps, including apps on the Google Play Store, are all capable of rooting about 90% of Android phones (those running Android 5.1 and lower). One article explaining it can be found here. I believe this could be potentially notable. (This news seems to be just gaining traction now.) I'm putting this up here because I don't have knowledge enough to draft a good Wikipedia article in a short amount of time, but I believe the Godless apps (as they're being called) should be covered on Wikipedia. -- Gestrid (talk) 05:32, 25 June 2016 (UTC)
Applicable notability guidelines?
Is WP:NWEB the applicable area-specific notability guideline for articles about mobile-apps, or is there something more tailored? Abecedare (talk) 20:05, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
Bobo Explores Light (iOS app)
Hello members, I'm relatively new and just created my first wikipage https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Bobo_Explores_Light.
I've read the guidelines and have did my best to mimic the articles classified as good content. I've also started with a low importance topic just to be on the safe side.
If possible, I would like someone from this WikiProject to take a look at the article and point out corrections and suggestions.
I also have a lot of small questions. Is this the place to post them?
Thanks,
--Coel Jo (talk) 11:35, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
Help with article
Hi,
I am an experienced Wikipedia editor but have a conflict of interest in regards to Letgo as a paid consultant. As such, I'd like someone independent to review some proposed changes I've made on Talk:Letgo#Proposed_edits. Letgo was the second most downloaded app in the United States in 2018 and it has received $500 million (yes, that's right -- five hundred million) in funding in 2018, with a bunch more before that. Thanks for considering this request. Cheers, Ed BC1278 (talk) 20:01, 14 November 2018 (UTC)BC1278
Article Title Rules
I do not know if this project has rules for article titles, but someone knowledgeable might like to check out this new article: Eva (cooperative). I wonder if the title should be something like "Eva (app)". Anyone here with page move authorization can act as they see fit. Thanks. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 17:15, 7 February 2019 (UTC)

Bridgefy
Hi all
I just started an article for Bridgefy which has been widely used in the protests in Hong Kong to avoid surveillance. I would appreciate some help expanding the article.

Sharecare article updates
Hi editors, SCbhaynes here. I am an employee of Sharecare and a representative on Wikipedia for the brand. I recently posted a request on the article's Talk page seeking editor assistance with adjusting the subsidiaries list in the current article's infobox. You can see my full request on the Sharecare talk page. I'm intent on adhering to the site's guidelines for editors like myself with a paid conflict of interest and will avoid editing directly. Since the request remains unanswered so far, I figured to reach out via this WikiProject in case there are any editors here who might assist. Also, I am new to the community, so please advise if this is an acceptable method for a conflict of interest editor like me to collaborate with the community of volunteer editors. Any questions or feedback is more than welcome. Thanks! SCbhaynes (talk) 19:37, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
Evernote: Infobox update request
Hey WikiProject members! I recently submitted an edit request to the Evernote talk page asking for a few updates to the article's infobox, which currently contains some outdated information. I'm an Evernote employee, so I'm trying to follow the proper procedure and ask other editors for help with edits rather than carrying them out myself. Maybe someone on this WP would want to look over my request? Here's a link to it. If you have any questions or concerns about what I've put forth, please let me know. Thanks very much! Evernotebrian (talk) 18:12, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
Evernotebrian, I've updated it now (see my response at the request.) Best regards, VukkyTalkGuestbook 09:20, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
Evernote: Company section updates
Hey there! I'm Greg, an Evernote employee looking for some help improving the company's article. A colleague of mine, user:Evernotebrian, put together a new draft for the article's Company section that covers some recent company history that isn't included in the current Evernote article and firms up the sourcing on existing content in that section. You can view that draft using this link. Here's an additional link to Brian's edit request on the Evernote Talk page and, if you scroll down a little bit, my COI disclosure and follow-up note. We were also hoping to get the Company header changed to History, because we feel that's a more accurate description of what the section contains, but if an editor from this WikiProject could at least take a look at the new section draft, that would be a great start. Thanks so much for your time. Evernote Greg (talk) 15:18, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
Help updating Playrix article.
I’ve posted a few suggested edits to improve the article about Playrix at Talk:Playrix#Playrix_Requested_Edits_June_2022, like updating the lead, history, and information about its response to the Ukraine-Russia conflict. Since I have a conflict of interest, is someone in this project available to review the requests? Many thanks. Interstellar108 (talk) 16:22, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
Help with Earthquake Early Warning (App section) Draft
Hello! I'm seeking some help on Draft:Early_Warning_Labs specifically the app section here. The company was an important part of the ShakeAlert Earthquake Early Warning testing, development and deployment on the West Coast. Is anyone familiar with ShakeAlert/QuakeAlertUSA and its implementation? EricFishers11 (talk) 00:06, 21 October 2022 (UTC) EricFishers11 (talk) 00:11, 21 October 2022 (UTC)
Seeking review of NerdWallet Products and services changes
Hello there! I'm stopping by because I have a COI and need an independent editor to review some changes I'm proposing to the NerdWallet article's Products and services section. Since part of that section discusses the capabilities of NerdWallet's app, I thought this might be a relevant WikiProject to reach out to.
If you follow this link to the NW Talk page, you'll see that I had been talking to an independent editor some revisions to the Products and services section's opening paragraph. We were going back and forth about specifics, then they dropped off the thread. I've tried reaching out to them once already, but I don't want to be a pest. It seems unfair for me to make insistent demands on volunteer editors' time. If someone at this WP is interested in picking up where the other editor left off, that would be awesome.
Thank you in advance to anyone who takes a look at my request! Cheers! KB at NerdWallet (talk) 22:34, 13 December 2023 (UTC)
Help writing an article for TimePassages
Hello, I'm Asia Seltzer, and I'd like to suggest the creation of a Wikipedia article for the app TimePassages. I am the app developer, and I understand the importance of neutrality and verifying notability. Based on what I've observed, TimePassages has received significant coverage in Oprah Daily (https://www.oprahdaily.com/entertainment/g36081413/best-astrology-apps/?slide=1), Cosmopolitan (https://www.cosmopolitan.com/lifestyle/g29762175/best-horoscope-apps/?slide=3), Bustle (https://www.bustle.com/life/best-astrology-apps), and many other articles. I believe it meets the notability criteria for software/apps on Wikipedia. However, I seek the community's insights and consensus on this matter. Could interested editors please review the available sources and consider whether TimePassages warrants a standalone article? Thank you for your time and consideration. ~Asia 0Rl0N (talk) 07:27, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
WikiProject icon being a Wikipedia "W"
Possible alternate icons
I just added {{WikiProject Apps}} to an article talk page, and when I saw the white Wikipedia logo assumed that I'd made a mistake and that this was a project about Wikipedia apps.
I have nominated Appy Awards for featured list removal. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets the featured list criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks; editors may declare to "Keep" or "Delist" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here. Are pages like the New York Times in the scope of wiki project apps?
they do have their own app associated with the New York Times and that's kind of what's confusing me here they also own several games which has its own Wikipedia page called the New York Times games(which has its own app on the App Store), and then each one of their games has their own Wikipedia page and each one of those games are included in the New York Times games app, which none of these pages have or tied to wiki project apps. So they might have more apps than this, but they have the main New York times app which is just for News and then they have the New York Times games app. Which none of that so far is tied to wiki project apps. Hi! I'm a COI editor for Yahoo (a client of my employer, Porter Novelli). Reaching out because I've proposed some pretty extensive updates to Yahoo Search (rated Top-importance to this project) on the article talk page. It's been a long time since the article got some real attention, and it's pretty out of date and disorganized, so I'm excited about the opportunity to improve it and would love any feedback on what I propose.

Discussion about WikiProject banner templates
For WikiProjects that participate in rating articles, the banners for talk pages usually say something like:
"This article has been rated as Low-importance on the importance scale."
Hi! I have another open request for the History section of the Preply article that editors here might find interesting. Cristina Preply (talk) 11:24, 9 December 2025 (UTC)
Notability check: BoldVoice (accent coaching app)
I'd like community input on whether BoldVoice, an AI-powered accent coaching app for non-native English speakers, meets WP:GNG.
Disclosure: I am the co-founder of the company, so I'm raising this here rather than creating the article directly per WP:COI.
Hawaii TESOL Journal (2023): Peer-reviewed critical review
National Foreign Language Resource Center / University of Hawaiʻi (2025): Academic review
The company completed Y Combinator (S21), raised a $21M Series A in January 2026, and has been covered across multiple independent outlets. A prior AfC draft was declined in mid-2025 for notability concerns before the recent press coverage.
Would this meet the threshold for a standalone article? Appreciate any feedback. ~2026-81303-3 (talk) 18:31, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
According to Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources, TechCrunch and Business Insider are iffy. Wired is good. I couldn't find anything about Inc. News search results are robust and very recent (Here's another candidate). If it isn't clearly notable today, I suspect it will be soon. ~Kvng (talk) 17:17, 8 February 2026 (UTC)
