Hello, I'm Nigel Ish. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Grumman Gulfstream I that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Nigel Ish (talk) 16:02, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
My comment was not meant to be civil, beacause the revent by BillCat was unreasonable. The whereabouts of the Greek "Gulfstream I" were already reasonably documented in the article by the inclusion of a photo of this plane at the museum. Unfortunately there are people who use the rules of WP against any common sense. Unfortunately Wikipedia has gradually evolved in the place to make new enemies. Civility is not optional - attacking other editors in edit summaries doesn't help anyone, and merely increases the chance that someone will continue to revert you or take admin action. Sourcing is also not something that is optional - if someone removes something that is not sourced then the solution is simply to provide a source, not attacking people for making a perfectly reasonable edit. Photos do not count as Reliable Sources so just because there is a photo claiming to show an aircraft at a cerain museum doesn't mean we can say so. There is also the point as to whether it is appropriate to talk about aircraft being preserved in museums in an operators section.Nigel Ish (talk) 16:34, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
You know, civility must work both ways. I still regard his revert as malicious, even if you claim that he follows the rules, He had solid indication that it was not a bogus edit, If he wanted to be civil, hw could have tagged my edit with {{facts}} as it was not an extraordinary claim. Trying to get WikiProject Amateur Radio back on the air!
Hi, I'm Dr vulpes(💬 • 📝) and I'm currently doing my best to resurrect the amateur radio WikiProject. A lot of the articles need some serious work and so I'm trying to organize an article improvement drive in October. If you're interested check out the link to the drive and the project page. Right now everything is in the planning stages, trying to find people interested, articles to focus on, etc. So if you know anyone who would like to help out feel free to invite them! If you no longer interested in this project that's a-ok just remove yourself from the list on the project page and I'll never badger you again. 73! Dr vulpes(💬 • 📝) 00:08, 15 September 2022 (UTC)

In an attempt to revive the Wikipedia:WikiProject Amateur radio, I'm posting a message on the talk pages of the partecipants asking them to update their status and include ways they can contribute (as The Signpost says, the first step is updating the list of active members).
