Subject area expert / due weight?
The thing is I don't think a blog publication on its own demonstrates due weight to the specific piece of opinion. e.g, many people have very differing opinions on slop, what makes one more worthy of mentioning than another? 海盐沙冰 / aka irisChronomia / Talk 13:32, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
See WP:BLOG: the page format is irrelevant if the writer is noteworthy on his own right. As for the page, the "about" sections says that's basically what they do: "True to the tradition of public intellectual engagement, The Philosophical Salon is a place where contemporary thinkers can discuss today’s crucial issues. Edited by Michael Marder, The Philosophical Salon’s mission is to bring together leading intellectuals from across the world in a single forum where their reflections on things that matter to us all can be heard." As for D'Isa, the writer's description says "Francesco D'Isa (Florence, Italy, 1980), trained as a philosopher and visual artist. After his graphic novel "I." (Nottetempo, 2011), he has published novels such as "Anna" (effequ 2014), "Ultimo piano" (Imprimatur 2015), "La Stanza di Therese" (Tunué, 2017) and essays for Hoepli and Newton Compton. Publishing director of L'Indiscreto, he writes and draws for various magazines and his works have been exhibited in art galleries in Italy and abroad".
