Thanks for your message + a belated welcome to Wikipedia and WikiProject Amusement Parks
Hi Lunarcat95!
Firstly, I'd like to wish you a belated welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks so much for all of your contributions, especially to amusement park articles. I see that you've already made your way around Wikipedia quite well in the last couple of months, but I'll leave some helpful links below anyway!
I'm glad you found WikiProject Amusement Parks! If you ever need help, feel free to put a message on the project's talk page and another editor will be happy to answer any questions or give you any help that you may need🙂
Finally, thanks for sending me a message and I'll gladly review that article when I have a moment!
Hi! I've taken a look at Draft:Schweizer Bobbahn (Europa-Park) as requested. Unfortunately I can't actually review it (as in accept or decline it) as that requires being an AfC reviewer (which I am not), but I can still give some feedback on the article.
I think it is very solid and comprehensive overall! I also think there are some things which you can do to the draft to improve the article as well as giving it a higher chance of being accepted.
The main thing AfC reviewers are going to be looking for is whether the article is notable, so they'll check to see if the article includes citations to reliable sources that provide significant coverage of the subject of the article (in this case Schweizer Bobbahn).) Going through the citations in the article, the first two are to RCDB. This is a strong source to use for statistics, as you have used it. However, it is a database and lists every roller coaster, so on its own, it does not prove that an individual roller coaster is notable enough to have a Wikipedia article. The third citation appears to me to be the strongest. I'm not familiar with the site but it appears to be fairly reliable, though it only has a somewhat small section on Schweizer Bobbahn itself, so it may not be sufficiently comprehensive. The final three references appear to be to pamphlets or videos created by the owners of Europa Park, so they're not independent sources.
I would recommend providing additional sources which are reliable, independent, and cover the coaster in detail. Things such as archives of newspaper articles are often good sources. Adding these will show the reviewer that the topic is notable and therefore worthy of a Wikipedia article. Ideally, all statements in the article should be backed up by a source, though full coverage is not required for the article to be accepted.
That is my main recommendation; as for the article itself, it is very good for what is, as far as I can tell, your first article! You've done a very good job of using templates like the infobox, citation templates, and details like the link to the commons category. The sections of the article are exactly right as well.
I hope this was useful, and please let me know if I can help again in any way! Plighting Engineerd (talk) 02:42, 14 March 2026 (UTC)
Thank you very much, for taking the time to read it, as well as for your kind words! I will have to wait for an AfC reviewer then. I have added two newspaper articles to the draft, I have even found the opening week of the roller coaster in one of them - something I've never read even on online forums or as an uncited claim. So thank you for motivating me🙂 Lunarcat95 (talk) 20:34, 14 March 2026 (UTC)
You're welcome! And the two sources you added look perfect! Also, I didn't know of that website and I'll keep it in mind now! Plighting Engineerd (talk) 02:58, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
