Addendum: in case anyone is wondering why I am wishing a Happy New Year to an indef-blocked editor, it is because this editor has always been collegial to me, and contributed a large volume of good work to the encyclopedia. As anyone who reads the discussion leading to the ban can see, Coolcaesar was banned for issues of temperament and lack of collegiality alone, not for vandalism or sockpuppetry or any of the various other forms of deceit and destruction that plague this project. This is not intended to excuse the issues of temperament, but merely to point out that this editor did good work, and he was my friend, and I do hope that he is having his best year yet.
