I am disclosing that Rüstem Duyuran was my maternal grandfather. I am aware of the potential conflict of interest and have attempted to produce a neutral and fact-based biography, following Wikipedia’s guidelines. The data for this submission is sourced mainly from Mr. Duyuran’s own published articles and books and the 1999 article by Nezih Başgelen describing Rüstem Duyuran’s life, works, and publications, entitled, “Arkeolog-Müzeci, Öğretmen: Rüstem Duyuran (1914-1992),” Arkeologji ve Sanat, Yıl: 21, Sayı: 92, Eylül-Ekim 1999. While the subject is notable and the draft is written in a neutral tone, unfortunately the issue of citations still persists. There are several pharagraphs with no citations, so I can't verify the information. Over half of the available citations come from the subject himself, which are primary sources with no independence. More references are needed from reliable, independent and secondary sources.
I added several tags to guide future improvement on the draft, don't be discouraged! The draft has promise.
