Hi! I noticed that you were the artist who made the award-winning heart illustration, File:Heart diagram-en.svg. Could I talk you into using those skills to make one or two more illustrations? I am wanting to acquire an illustration of the sublingua (article coming tonight or tomorrow) and tongue of a lemur. I have illustrations you can work from, but all are still under copyright. I'm guessing that if you can make a detailed heart, these illustrations should be nothing. The basic ideas can be found in this source, particularly figures 2 and 5, which are the tongue and "under-tongue" (sublingua) of a ring-tailed lemur. Having a good illustration or two for this bizarre and poorly understood feature would be very valuable. Would you be up for it? –VisionHolder «talk» 04:05, 7 February 2012 (UTC)
Sounds interesting. Perhaps sometime this weekend or next week I might have some free time😉 ZooFari (talk) 05:15, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
Sounds wonderful. If it doesn't work out, I can put the request up for the graphics lab. But given your interest in animals, I thought this might be right up your alley. Just keep me in the loop on your progress. 🙂 –VisionHolder «talk» 07:14, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
Also, no pressure, but if you can get an illustration done before next Wednesday, I will include it in the DYK nomination and add you for DYK credit. Again, if you don't have time, just let me know. –VisionHolder «talk» 04:58, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
Update: I have added the old illustrations (from 1918) to the article temporarily. These illustrations are in the public domain, but only for the U.S., so they are not on Commons. Just keep me posted on whether or not you can make better illustrations. If you would prefer, I can take the request to the Graphic Lab's Illustration Workshop. Otherwise, I'm just looking for something comparable to these images in SVG. We may soon have up-close photos of the structure to provide coloring information. At this point, I would assume that the primary tongue is pink and the sublingua is off-white or cream in color. I can add the lines and numbers for labeling. Either way, thanks! –VisionHolder «talk» 17:57, 15 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi! I'm serving as the wikipedian-in-residence at the Smithsonian Institution Archives until June! One of my goals as resident, is to work with Wikipedians and staff to improve content on Wikipedia about people who have collections held in the Archives - most of these are scientists who held roles within the Smithsonian and/or federal government. I thought you might like to participate since you are interested in the sciences! Sign up to participate here and dive into articles needing expansion and creation on our to-do list. Feel free to make a request for images or materials at the request page, and of course, if you share your successes at the outcomes page you will receive the SIA barnstar! Thanks for your interest, and I look forward to your participation! Sarah (talk) 18:28, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

WikiProject:REHAB update
You signed up for WikiProject User Rehab
Hi there, I'm RDN1F. It's come to my attention that you've signed up for WikiProject Rehab, but since that time the project has retired. I've decided to take it upon myself to rejuvenate the project - but I could do with your help. If you are still willing to help mentor (or even give me a hand in bringing this project back!) leave a message on my talk page RDN1FTALK 16:32, 2 March 2013 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice of disputed non-free files
Hello, one (or more) of the images you uploaded that fell into the {{Non-free Scout logo nocontent}} category have been re-tagged with {{Di-fails NFCC}}. Suspension of autopatrolled permission due to inactivity
Hello ZooFari. Following a request for comment in May 2025, the community has decided to implement an activity requirement for the autopatrolled permission. Because your account has not edited in the last three years, the autopatrolled permission has been removed from your account. This action is purely procedural and does not affect your ability to create articles; if you return to actively creating articles, you may request that the permission be restored through the normal process. When returning, please consider taking some time to re-familiarize yourself with common practices and how they may have changed over the past few years if you wish to request the permission back. Thank you for all of your contributions to Wikipedia, and we hope to see you again soon. – – DreamRimmer Alt (talk) 11:28, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
