My first ever edit with an account was for Doom Eternal on December 23, 2022, though I started to more consistently edit as an IP a year later. Eventually, I made this account and made my first edit to Bad North on the 29th. That same day, I uploaded twogameplay screenshots of Lethal Company to Commons that got immediately deleted. I am a school boy, so don't expect me to be online all the time, nor the most competent at certain things.
From a friend 🔥
Throughout my Wikimedia journey, I have been given one block on Commons (unrelated to the earlier incident). I have requested to change my username once from TheWikiToby to Tarlby.
After over a year of work and another before then of casual editing, I finally got Rain World to be a Featured Article! Now I guess the next thing for me to do is to work on my other favorite video game of all time, Omori. Unlike when I began editing RW though, I'll be using my sandbox to write down Omori (which I'll abbreviate as Omo), rather than dropping 300+ tidbits to a live, mainspace article.
To be honest, I don't know how the hell Me from early 2024 with like 500 edits managed to absorb the knowledge of the whole structure, sourcing, planning, and construction for that article. You might know that I have zeroGA articles. That's because I honestly hate looking through eighty freaking sources and then having to think about how all of them coalesce into one comprehensive encyclopedic unit! It feels like such a slog. Someone dropped a really cool comment on my talk page calling RW a really good and organized article. The comment below that one said I deserved the accomplishment. I love those comments, because I spent like a year worrying if RW was gonna be deemed too unorganized and broken up. It feels so worth it now.
Anyways, sorry for the ranting. The point is that I don't want my edits to disrupt an already-mainspace-and-GA Omo article with my edits overtime in some way. I don't know. Why do I even need a reason to write my own draft of a mainspace page? Isn't that a completely normal thing I've seen writers on here do? Anyways, if you want to help out and fix a typo or anything, you can drop by at User:Tarlby/Omori. toby(t)(c)(rw) 01:32, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
