I have an interest in contributing to Wikipedia because it lets me make a difference, helping to build one of the largest repositories of knowledge anywhere. Wikipedia is sort of like a new Library of Alexandria, a place where the sum of human knowledge can be stored, sorted, and disseminated.
What that means in terms of implementation is interesting, contrary to what my AWB speedy deletion nomination might convey, I'm generally an inclusionist. If something has the potential to be a full article we should keep it, someone will find it useful, and it costs us almost nothing.
I'm really annoyed by vandals. I try to stay involved in lending a hand in the fight against vandalism and nonsense on Wikipedia.
My interests in contributing seem to revolve around nuclear power, modern warfare, space, and the places I've been (e.g. Olin College). School is always tough on contributions, sometime when I'm a Real Engineer and have lots of free time I will get to write more....
