Hai! I'm enbi, a Wikipedian. (you might have already guessed that). I spend most of my time helping out with anti-vandalism and other related stuff. You can message me on my talk page if you want help with anything; I dont bite (I promise) and I'll try to help you the best I can! If you want to contact me privately, I prefer using Discord (@enbifromwiki) but you can also talk to me over email by going here. I like using brackets/parentheses (you can probably tell). My signature is enbi[they/them] • [talk], which you will probably see a lot on user talk pages of vandals and the Teahouse.
very, very, very old-fashioned, but it still applies even today.
{{templates}} you should use
{{Outdent}} - lets you bring a talk page discussion back down to indent level 1 when the indentation is too high to read.
{{they|username}} - automatically generates the correct pronoun for a specific user e.g. {{they|enbi}} would render as they. There are also more that do the same thing but for different pronoun forms e.g. {{them}}, {{their}} and {{they are}}.
The pipe trick - not a template but still useful. It auto-formats links by getting rid of stuff like namespace identifiers and (disambiguators). You use it by ending a link with a | character e.g. [[WP:pipe trick|]] (which renders as pipe trick).
