The Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Jazz Orchestra adalah big band beraliran jazz yang dibentuk oleh pemain trompet Thad Jones dan drummer Mel Lewis di New York pada tahun 1965[1] Band ini tampil selama dua belas tahun dalam inkarnasi aslinya, termasuk tur 1972 ke Uni Soviet selama puncak Perang Dingin.[2]
