Template:Overview section

This overview section duplicates the intended purpose of the article's lead section, which should provide an overview of the subject. Please merge it with the introduction, move its content to other sections, or retitle the section to give it a clear scope.

Usage

This template tags an article with an inappropriate overview section. It should be added at the top of the section, as follows:

This template will auto-categorize tagged articles into Category:Wikipedia articles with inappropriate overview sections, or a dated subcategory thereof.

Do not subst: this template. This template is a self-reference.
