Jalur ini adalah jalur maglev perkotaan komersial tak berawak kedua setelah jalur Linimo di Jepang. Jalur ini menghubungkan Bandar Udara Internasional Incheon dengan Stasiun Yongyu lewat Pulau Yeongjong.[3] Kereta di jalur ini lebih ringan dari biasanya, sehingga menghemat setengah biaya pembangunan.[4] Jalur ini tidak termasuk dalam Kereta Bawah Tanah Metropolitan Seoul.
