Leslie Esdaile Banks (lahir 11 Desember 1959) adalah seorang penulis Afrika-Amerika. Dia menulis dalam berbagai genre, termasuk sastra Amerika Afrika, roman, fiksi wanita, cerita kriminal, horor dan nonfiksi. Leslie menulis dengan nama pena LA Banks, Leslie Esdaile, Leslie Banks dan Leslie Esdaile Banks. Dia telah memenangkan beberapa penghargaan sastra, termasuk Essence Literary Awards 2008 untuk Storyteller of the Year.[1][2]
Banks telah banyak menulis di berbagai majalah, surat kabar, dan telah menulsi untuk berbagai penerbit, St. Martin’s Press (NYC), Simon and Schuster (NYC), Kensington Publishing (NYC), BET/Arabesque (NYC), and Genesis Press (MS).[3]
