John Flammang Schrank (5 Maret 1876–15 September 1943) adalah penjaga salon kelahiran Bayern dari New York, yang dikenal karena berniat membunuh mantan Presiden AS Theodore Roosevelt pada 14 Oktober 1912, di Milwaukee, Wisconsin.[1]
Di pengadilan Schrank, ia mengklaim bahwa William McKinley mengunjunginya dalam mimpi dan menyuruhnya untuk membalas pembunuhannya dengan membunuh Roosevelt.

Schrank regarded Teddy's 1912 Bull Moosing as a bid for a third term, decided to shoot him. Schrank's single shot was parried by manuscripts and a spectacle case in T.R.'s pockets. Despite his wound, Teddy made a speech that night, a fortnight later again felt perfectly bully.
