Ia menikah dengan pengusaha Lee Seung-woo pada 15 Januari 2011. Ia tidak memperbaharui kontraknya dengan YG Entertainment, and announced that she was putting her career activities on hold while transitioning to married life.[1] The couple divorced in 2015, after which she decided to return to acting.[2]
