East Room adalah ruangan untuk acara dan resepsi di Executive Residence, sebuah bangunan dalam kompleks Gedung Putih, tempat tinggal presiden Amerika Serikat. Ruang Timur adalah ruangan terbesar di Executive Residence; digunakan untuk tarian, resepsi, konferensi pers, upacara, konser, dan pesta makan. Ruang Timur merupakan salah satu ruangan terakhir yang selesai dan dihias, dan telah mengalami renovasi substansial selama dua abad terakhir. Sejak tahun 1964, Komite Pelestarian Gedung Putih, melalui perintah eksekutif, memberikan saran kepada presiden Amerika Serikat dan ibu negara mengenai dekorasi, pelestarian, dan konservasi Ruang Timur serta ruang publik lainnya di Gedung Putih.
