Astyanax jordani adalah sebuah spesies ikan air tawar dalam famili characin (Characidae) pada ordo Characiformes, yang berasal dari Meksiko.[3][4] Terkadang ikan ini dikenal sebagai tetra gua, atau dengan nama Spanyol lokalnya, sardina ciega.
Sebuah ikan gua yang buta, spesies ini sangat berkerabat dekat dengan tetra meksiko (A. mexicanus) dan kedua taksonomi ikan tersebut diperdebatkan. Beberapa menganggap dua spesies tersebut sebagai dua varian spesies tunggal (di mana di sini A. jordani adalah sinonim junior dari A. mexicanus) dan hal ini didukung oleh bukti filogenetik,[5][6][7][8][9] tetapi beberapa ahli masih menganggap kedua spesies tersebut sebagai spesiesnya sendiri.[10]
