Alexander Hislop (lahir di Duns, Berwickshire, 1807 – meninggal di Arbroath, 13 Maret 1865 pada umur 58 tahun) adalah menteri Gereja Bebas Skotlandia. Dia sering mengkritik Gereja Katolik Roma. Dia adalah putra Stephen Hislop (meninggal 1837), seorang mason dan salah seorang tetua Relief Church. Adik Alexander juga dinamai Stephen Hislop (1817–1863) dan menjadi terkenal sebagai misionaris di India serta sebagai seorang naturalis.

Alexander menulis beberapa buku, dan bukunya yang paling terkenal adalah The Two Babylons: Papal worship Revealed to be the worship of Nimrod and His wife.
