Æthelred, Tuan Bangsa Mercia (atau Ealdorman Æthelred dari Mercia, meninggal 911 M) adalah penguasa Mercia tak lama setelah meninggalnya raja terakhir Mercia, Ceolwulf II pada 879. Daerah kekuasaannya hanya meliputi separuh barat kerajaan tersebut, karena paruh timurnya dikuasai bangsa Viking dan menjadi bagian Danelaw. Silsilahnya tidak diketahui dengan pasti. Ia kemungkinan memimpin invasi Wales oleh Mercia pada 811, yang berakhir dengan kegagalan. Tak lama kemudian ia mengakui Alfred Agung dari Wessex sebagai rajanya. Persekutuan ini diperkuat dengan pernikahan Æthelred dengan putri Alfred, Æthelflæd.
